Vigneti del Salento is a winery of the Fantini Group located in Apulia (Italy). This peninsula is an ancient wine-growing area dating back to the ancient Greeks. It is a very hot region cooled by nightly sea breezes. The winemaking team carefully selects the best parts of each vineyard based on clones, position in the vineyard and age of the vines. The wines are native varietals, Primitivo and Negoramaro, very suitable for food and great representatives of the region. Aged in American and French oak barrels for the following 6-8 months.
Vigneti del Salento Zolla Primitivo di Manduria is a ruby red wine with violet hues. Intense aroma, complex, fruity with notes of small red fruits (cherries and blackberries). Remarkably structured and smooth, warm and quite tannic, with great persistence.
