Made from Premsal grapes, a white variety native to Mallorca, Vermouth Muntaner Blanc is macerated for 40 days in herbs such as mugwort, sweet orange peel, lemon peel, cloves, juniper, green cardamom, elderflower, star anise, chamomile, rose petals and juniper berries. With no added sugars beyond those contained in the must itself, the result is a deep yellow vermouth, very aromatic and intensely citric, with hints of cardamom and lemon. Pleasant on the palate, with pronounced notes of herbs and spices and a very balanced and tasty taste in the mouth. Serve chilled neat with lemon peel or as a cocktail, in a balloon glass, mixed with a tonic and ice.
Vermouth Muntaner Blanco 75cl is elaborated 100% with Prensal Blanc grape, a native Majorcan variety, with a base of 14 botanicals macerated for 40 days in 500l oak barrels, which gives it a remarkable volume and complex aromas. The Antonio Nadal distillery only uses the grape must to correct the acidity, avoiding the use of sugars or artificial additives (like most industrial vermouths), resulting in a high quality natural vermouth.
It has a bright yellow color, very aromatic and markedly citric. Predominant retronasal notes of cardamom, cinnamon and clove, as well as a long, balanced and persistent aftertaste. It is recommended to drink it in the traditional way (ice, lemon peel and olive), or in a cocktail, using a balloon glass or wide glass with lots of ice and flavored with lemon peel, 8cl of white Muntaner vermouth and a tonic.
