This wine perfectly reflects the character of the best soils of the Ribera del Duero. The estate, located in the municipality of La Horra, is at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level and faces south. All these characteristics produce a red wine full of riparian character, mineral, intense, sweet and full-bodied, to be enjoyed slowly.
In Trus is the germ of Palacios Vinos de Finca. Founded in 1999, it is after the acquisition of the totality of the winery when it is redirected towards the territory as an expression to elaborate wines that express the typicality of the Ribera, without stridency and without excesses.
The winery's estates are located in Piñel de abajo, Pesquera de Duero, Quintanilla de Arriba and it works with winemakers from other areas of the D.O. such as Moradillo, Roa, Nava, Peñaranda or Baños de Valdearados. Trus, acronym of Tierra, Roble, Uva y Sol, seeks to express the peculiarities of each vintage and that its wines are able to survive in the bottle and gain with the years of aging.
Wines with character, of extreme climate and fresh orientations, that a measured aging harmonizes and refines so that the message is completely honest. Different and special elaborations, capable of blending with other wines and achieving a different expression or of forming a singular estate wine, with a unique language.
For this reason, Trus wines can be defined as classics, because an avant-garde look is directed towards the soil, preserving a typicity that is marked from its deepest roots. Trus represents the origin of Ribera del Duero, where the vine expresses itself through the soil that sustains it.
