Sitta Maceración 2021 is the perfect wine for those looking for new sensations. Attis Bodega y Viñedos, a reference firm in Rías Baixas, presents the latest vintage of its original and surprising orange wine, a type of white wine whose maceration with the skins gives it not only the particular orange tone that gives it its name, but also greater structure, volume and complexity.
Orange wines are in fashion. Their originality and attractiveness conquer the most daring palates, eager for different proposals. Sitta Maceración 2021 is one of them, directly from Galicia.
Attis Bodega y Viñedos chose for its design, as it could not be otherwise, its star variety, the Albariño, carefully chosen from the old vineyards, between 35 and 40 years old, which it owns in the Salnés Valley. The distinctive touch in the elaboration was provided by the maceration with the grape skins that took place during 15 days. This time allowed the wine to acquire its characteristic orange color, more body and pleasant tannins. The process ended with 6 months of aging, on lees and with batonage, in stainless steel tanks, resulting in the orange wine Sitta Maceración 2021, a different and limited production Albariño, which is not marketed under any denomination of origin, and which is ideal to enjoy with vegetables (asparagus, artichokes), blue cheeses or a good Galician pie.
