Albamar is a family winery that takes care of the vineyards and elaborates Albariños with a unique character and special personality. Located in Cambados where most of its vineyards are on the banks of the mouth of the Umia River, in the middle of the Ría de Arousa. This environment is characterized by a gentle relief, with mainly sandy and clay soils, impregnated by sea breezes that give the vineyards and the resulting wine a characteristic salinity. This Albariño represents the flagship of the winery. The vineyards from which it comes from are 25 years old. For its production, a careful selection is made to obtain the maximum typicality of the variety. Once pressed, the wine is left to settle, is decanted and undergoes spontaneous fermentation at a controlled temperature. A subsequent devatting is carried out to keep the fine lees dissolved in the wine, bringing out the character of the Albariño, with a great structure and aromatic complexity, with the typical hints of fruit, citrus, white flowers and marked minerality. Fresh, broad and deep on the palate.

Description

69 arrobas originates from five different micro-plots in the Salnés valley, planted with old vines. Three of these plots are also over a century old. For 20 months the wine was in contact with its lees in a stainless steel tank. This aging makes it particularly gastronomic and versatile.
