This rum is made from a blend of the highest quality rums aged separately for more than 23 years in the high Guatemalan mountains.

Description

Zacapa No. 23's balance of delicate and unique flavors comes from a blend of aged rums between 6 and 23 years old, from the "Solera System" aging process. Zacapa No. 23 is aged in selected barrels that previously aged robust American whiskey, delicate sherries and fine Pedro Ximénez wines, creating a smooth, balanced rum. Zacapa No. 23 rum is served neat, on the rocks or in your favorite black liquor cocktail.
Soft and sweet entry, with aromas of caramel, vanilla, cocoa and butterscotch. Continues with sherry notes of caramelized roasted Brazil nuts and toasted hazelnut, rounded with toffee, banana and dried pineapple.
Complex, generous and full-bodied. Starts with a deep aroma of dried fruits and apricot, giving way to savory oak, nutmeg, leather and tobacco with notes of coffee and vanilla, balanced with a spicy touch of cinnamon and ginger.
