A rum elaborated in Venezuela by the distillery Industrias Pampero. Pampero Aniversario rum has been awarded the gold medal, received in the San Francisco, World Spirit Awards in 2007 and 2009. The alcohol is aged three times faster than in other places in the world because the water comes from a spring in the Andes. Aged for 4 years.
Having created an iconic rum "house" from humble beginnings, our founders decided to pour all their skills and knowledge into the creation of a rum to commemorate the 25th anniversary of its origin. Little did they know that, almost 60 years later, that rum would be the most awarded rum in their country, having won more Gold and Double Gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition than any other Venezuelan rum.
To make this rum, our founders overturned the usual way of making rum and added Ex-Sherry barrels to the set of Ex-Bourbon barrels already in use. Thus, Pampero™ Aniversario is created from our "Reserva Exclusiva": our rarest and most complex rums. To honor this, we created one of the most distinctive bottles in the bar, wrapped in the history and story of the Llanero (Venezuelan Cowboy), our icon.
