In this wine we want to emphasize the markedly Mediterranean character of the Mantonegro, we pursue an intense but fluid entry. The Mantonegro fruit in its most open and direct version, without frills. The rest of the varieties accompany.
Located in Consell, in a historic wine-growing region, our winery complements respect for tradition with investment in research. The team has a common goal: to produce grapes of the best quality in a sustainable way to elaborate personal wines with marked typicity. The wines are made from our own grapes, harvested by hand, which go through a triple selection system; one in the vineyard and two others in the winery, which has a triage table for bunches and a belt for grapes. The winery has two production rooms, each with a capacity for 100,000 bottles; one is prepared for red wines and the other for white, rosé and sweet wines. Each variety and plot is made separately in specific tanks for each type of winemaking: stainless steel, coated concrete and oak. Quality control and hygiene are fundamental and we take care of every detail in all the winemaking processes. For this purpose we have specialized technicians and our own laboratory, where we also carry out part of the experimentation projects and monitoring of native varieties. Today the old 18th century buildings, located next to the family house, are still in operation and are used exclusively for the production of red wine. Next to them and on the other side of an old threshing floor we find a contemporary building where the rest of the winemaking, aging and bottling are carried out.
