The basis of the balanced Blanc de Baleares is the grapes of the Prensal Blanc variety. The Blanc is an Old World wine to the core, because this Spanish wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of Old World wines. The grapes for this white wine from Spain are harvested exclusively by hand after ensuring optimal ripening. After hand harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. There they are carefully sorted and crushed. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by a few months of maturation on fine lees before final bottling.
It is our freshest entry wine, the most frank and varietal expression of our Prensal Blanc vineyards, which grow in a warm and sunny Mediterranean environment, tempered by gravelly soils and a gentle sea breeze. We accompany the Prensal Blanc, the island's main white variety, with Giró Ros, a local variety almost lost and recently recovered, to add a point of complexity.
