Queirón Ensayos Capitales Nº2 'Lágrima en Tinaja' is the first white wine in Queirón's catalog. It is born from a concatenation of dreams and desires: a unique variety in the world, native and exclusive to Rioja, an almost unknown territory in the heart of one of the most traditional wine regions on the planet. 3,126 bottles with an exhaustive selection of grapes from the El Aniceto vineyard, a majuelo with sandy-loam soil located in the foothills of the Sierra de Yerga at an altitude of over 600 meters above sea level. We carry out a very peculiar winemaking process with the first part of the fermentation in stainless steel tanks, culminating in barrels. And then, only with the tear must, refining it in earthenware jars.
And a look to the future from tradition and classicism. This is the philosophy of the Ensayos Capitales project, Queirón's new step to produce wines at the limits of both oenology and viticulture.
