First aged in bourbon barrels in Barbados for many years, this rum crosses the ocean in barrels to the southwest of France to continue maturing in small French oak barrels Ferrand. This centuries-old "double aging" process gives it incredible smoothness and complexity. It unveils a sophisticated palate of chocolate, vanilla, ripe banana, toasted coconut and a hint of fresh mango. To honor Alexandre Gabriel's 20th anniversary as Master Blender, we created Plantation XO 20th Anniversary with a blend of quintessential Barbados extra-aged rums. More than a decade later, we are still very proud of this rum, which continues to receive accolades and top awards.
