A Mediterranean style white that stands out for its great structure and complexity. It incorporates a part of white Cariñena, a very rare grape variety that brings vitality and freshness.
The variety of soils of the Empordà is reflected in the different estates of Perelada, which has slate soils in Garbet, gravel in La Garriga, clay loam in Malaveïna... Our winery has decided to take advantage of the differential features that each of these soils imprints on the grapes to bet on the so-called estate wines, whose personality is indelibly marked by the vineyard in which they are born.
The 41 hectares of flat land that make up the Finca La Garriga vineyard are of a silty clay nature, with sand and gravel, and have a neutral pH. After four months in new acacia barrels, with periodic battonage, we have obtained a wine that proves that great whites can be made in the Empordà. Yellow color with golden tones. Aroma of white fruits, with floral background and in perfect harmony with the fine and delicate notes of the barrel. In the mouth it is fresh yet oily, enveloping, elegant and balanced. It stands out for its complexity and unique personality, a reflection of the varieties from which it comes.
