WINES THAT REALLY SPEAK OF THE TERRITORY
Bodegas Obalo was born in the heart of the Rioja Sonsierra, in a building whose location and characteristics are a declaration of intent. From our winery, located in the town of Ábalos, it is possible to see, on the one hand, a sea of vineyards from which the great wines of Rioja have historically been made and, on the other hand, the Sierra Cantabria mountain range, which serves as a shelter and conditions the climate of the area. Our project is based on these two elements.
We work to offer our vision of this historic land through a selection of old vineyards, with different heights, orientations and soil compositions.
