Conceived as an example of precision and care, both in viticulture and in the winemaking process, this is a wine that expresses in detail the diversity and richness of Ribeiro. It uses a unique blend of local varieties, cultivated for centuries in the Avia valley, such as Treixadura, Godello, Albariño, Torrontés and Loureira.

The landscape of Ribeiro is sculpted in granite and terraces in endless valleys dotted with streams and hot springs. On terraces and narrow paths that cross between stone walls won to the mountain by the hands of several generations. The vineyards of Viña Meín-Emilio Rojo face each other and show themselves in fullness before the routes of light. The small eleven plots of Viña Meín, incandescent in the morning; the terraces of Emilio Rojo, in the afternoon. O Pequeño Meín is an aromatic, attractive and intense wine. A pleasant and clean finish. An example of the precision and care that characterizes this winery, its viticulture and winemaking. The work carried out by the team is adapted to each variety and each microclimate. This wine is a perfect interpretation of the diversity and richness of the Avia Valley with an assemblage of different vines endowed with the same expressive character. O Pequeno 2020 only uses traditional native grape varieties from its own vineyards: treixadura, godello, albariño, torrontés and loureira. During the harvest, each variety is harvested separately and when they are at their optimum ripeness. When they arrive at the winery, the wine is made in separate stainless steel, oak and concrete vats. O Pequeno is a blend of grapes from different terraces and different varieties that maintain the same expressive character. The precision with which they undertake each process is reflected in the resulting identity of this wine. After aging for about 7 months in the same vessel where fermentation took place, it was bottled in April 2021.
