The history of Nordés Galician gin began with a meeting of friends over a plate of octopus. A renowned sommelier, winner of the Golden Nose award in 2004, a Galician wine businessman and a master distiller began to dream of making a Galician gin, with ingredients from their land, that would be different from other gins. And so, after many tests, they found the perfect formula to capture the essence of Galicia, giving rise to what is now the recipe for Nordés Galician gin. Its characteristic white bottle is inspired by the traditional ceramics of Sargadelos, handcrafted in Galicia, which is distinguished by the uniqueness of its designs and the use of white and blue colors. The name of our gin is a tribute to the NORDÉS wind that in Galicia announces the good weather.
Nordés is the premium gin of Galician origin, which was born as a tribute to its land and became in a few years the revolutionary gin that sublimates the known, for its authentic character and exquisite taste.
