This is a young Rioja wine made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It is a little different from both the white Rioja and Sauvignon Blanc. Light silvery golden color. The nose is very pleasant. There is some grapefruit, but overall it has a clean, refreshing aroma with some underlying minerals. On the palate, again, the minerality. A very round and easy drinking wine. Some citrus and acidity, but not overpowering. Works well on its own, but also with light meals.
Organic Sauvignon Balnc vineyards located in the highest area of the village of Bargota, in the north of Spain, where the soil is dry, calcareous, stony and without irrigation. The character of this soil translates into a medium-low production and a wine with good acidity and perfect balance. The color is bright intense apple, with fresh and floral aromas in which intense notes of lemon and apple stand out. Elegant and very fruity, the intense flavor of Biurko Rioja Blanco is an excellent combination of sweet fruit with good acidity that makes the finish long and attractive.
