Originating from the natural beauty of Germany and The Forest Black Distillery, Monkey 47 Gin is made in the traditional German way in which it is distilled three times and then macerated in traditional earthenware vessels for a minimum period of three months, a process that gives a great subtlety that can be appreciated in every sip of delicious aromas of Monkey 47 Gin. This Gin is characterized for being the gin with more botanicals in its recipe that exceeds 43 extracts from different parts of the world. To make it, the barley and rye are first distilled with water, then the extracts are macerated and finally bottled in a maximum quantity of 2,500 bottles. This gin is characterized by having in its essence extracts of elderflower, hibiscus, citron verbena, pepper, coriander and spruce, untraditional ingredients that give Monkey 47 a very attractive uniqueness, with layers of sweetness and bitterness, ideal for drinking neat or combining in wonderful cocktails.
