Originally from Correns, the first French village whose vineyards were totally converted to organic, this rosé captivates with its extremely fresh and fruity profile, making it a perfect representative of the best of Provence.
Miraval Rosé is a rosé wine from the AOC Côtes de Provence (Provence) made by the Miraval winery from Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah varieties.
Miraval is a "château" in Correns (Provence), the first fully organic town in France. The estate, which includes 600 hectares of vineyards, has been owned by actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Joli since 2011. With the collaboration and advice of the Perrin family, one of the most prestigious in the Rhone Valley, they became very good winemakers of their own wines.
Miraval Rosé comes from vines from the best plots of the estate. The vines are planted in clay-limestone soils, at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level and cultivated entirely with organic methods. The grapes are harvested when they reach their optimum ripeness, always in the morning, and undergo a double selection process.
When the Miraval Rosé grapes arrive at the winery, they are destemmed. The Cinsault and Grenache varieties are then pressed directly. The Syrah variety is vinified separately using the pumping-over method. Most of the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Only 5% is fermented in barrels with "batonnages".
Miraval Rosé is a fresh and fruity rosé wine presented in a glamorous bottle. A very captivating wine with a touch of Hollywood.
