White wine produced by Bodegas Fábregas under the Somontano D.O., coupage of Chardonnay and Garnacha Blanca grapes. The winemaking process seeks a balance between varieties. The Chardonnay produces small, golden clusters, with a high concentration of sugar and ripe fruit aromas. Garnacha Blanca produces large, greenish clusters, with lower sugar concentration and fresher aromas. The resulting wine combines ripeness and freshness, sweetness and acidity. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected at their optimum ripeness. Soft pressing and fermentation for two weeks in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C. Pale straw yellow with soft golden reflections. Intense and clean aroma, with abundant hints of pear, pineapple and banana. The palate is ample, sweet and very well balanced. The finish is persistent, round and very tasty.
The Garnacha Blanca 70% of the wine comes from Los Oncenos at the foot of the Pueyo Monastery. The Chardonnay 30% comes from the Ferrera estate on the banks of the Vero River.
