In the production of the Gran Reserva, Riscal uses grapes from old vines over 80 years of age, from the following varieties
own productions or acquired from local winegrowers. Once the wine is selected to make the Gran Reserva after the unification of the harvest, it is transferred to French oak barrels, where it will remain for two and a half to three years, plus another three years in the bottle before being marketed.
