L'Insomni is a relatively new white wine from a small winery on the island called Dunord Viticola. Joan and her family manage their plants to suit the soil, without any additional water support. L'Insomni is a fabulous wine for dreamers. The wine itself is very clean and pale in color. The aromas of L'Insomni are a mix of floral and stone fruit notes, and to taste, it is fresh and crisp with a nice balance of acidity and fruit flavors. It has a touch of density that allows it to pair well with oily fish, white meats and various rice dishes.
An estate wine made with the indigenous varieties Giró rubio 50% and Malvasía 50%. Fermented in stainless steel tanks between 14 and 16ºC temperature. Subsequent aging with lees in stainless steel tanks for 4 months.
