Conreria d'Scala Dei was born from the will and enthusiasm of a group of people historically linked to the Priorat, with the desire to make known to the world the magnificent wines that are produced in this land. Starting from the old property of the stately Casa dels Rialp, we have modernized its facilities to produce our wines and share with its visitors the historical legacy of this land and its people in the magnificent surroundings of Scala Dei and the Priorat. With a careful selection of vines and grapes, from the 52 hectares leased and owned, and with our effort behind each of the 130,000 bottles we produce annually, we make these wines with the peculiar seal of the Priorat a reality.
Only the strength of a dream could go where determination was not enough. "Wine always tells a story. The perfume of an ancient land that carries the colors of time. The Priorat has captivated me. Studies together with experience have trained me as an oenologist. But ability is not enough and neither is recognition, only the strength of a dream has been able to reach where determination was not enough".
