Domaine Antonin Guyon is one of the most prestigious estates in the Côte d'Or, as well as one of the largest family-owned wineries in the region. Antonin Guyon began its journey in the 1960s with plots in Gevrey and Meursault. Today, the huge 47-hectare estate is controlled and managed by Antonin's sons, Dominique and Michel, and produces wines of impeccable quality from 15 different appellations, including many of the region's renowned villages. An exceptional range of Premier and Grands Crus. The Dominique Guyon Hautes Cotes de Nuits vineyards are located on the south-facing slopes of Meuilley, in the hills of Nuits-Saint-George, an area known for the quality of its wines. The soils are chalky, rocky and somewhat clayey. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small crates to the cellars, where they are sorted. Fermentation takes place for 10 days in open wooden vats, at controlled temperature and with punching down. The wines are aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Ruby red in color, with purple tints, it is full of fresh fruit aromas. Elegant, delicious and well-made, with a creamy texture, this wine is ready to drink now or can be cellared for up to five years. Ideal with red meats, roasts and most cheeses.
