Oliver Moragues has the difficult native Callet grape surprisingly under control and presses a very exciting and deep wine. Medium red, translucent. Initially reserved on the nose, then very noble after a short time in the glass with aromas of rock, violets, tobacco and charcoal. Lets the mind wander and also reminds a bit of an old library with a papery, slightly dusty aroma. On the palate, mostly juicy, with good acidity, discreet, slightly acidic and rustic tannins, some soft melting and a nice, lingering finish with again notes of flowers and charcoal. Organically grown. Selection of Callet grapes fermented at low temperature and aged for 5 months in new 300 and 400 liter French oak barrels.
