This Mencía 100% comes from the coolest vineyards in the Bierzo Valley, located in the areas of Otero and Villadecanes, on clayey and mineral soils.
Cuatro Pasos Rosé is born from the vineyards of the Bierzo Valley, where the most vigorous and vegetation-rich plots protect the clusters from direct sunlight, giving the Mencía grape a greater freshness. We carefully select the plots in the valley where we harvest early in order to preserve the freshness that provides more intense aromas. Through direct grape pressing we achieve a delicate extraction of color and through cold fermentation (18º) we preserve the fruity and floral aromas of the grapes.
