Citadelle is the only gin in the world made with 19 botanicals from an original recipe dating back to 1771. Citadelle Original is our first gin. This quintessential French gin is dry, structured and presents a balance between finesse and intensity. Since 1996, it has been the symbol of homemade flavor. From the beginning, juniper has been the hallmark of Citadelle. The aroma of juniper gives way to a citrus fragrance that highlights it. Finally, it has a more exotic touch, with a pleasant and long-lasting spicy flavor with the aroma of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. In our gin, there are 19 aromatic plants, including lemon, among other delicious and exotic spices. In order for the herbs to release their full flavor, the infusion time and temperature must be adjusted. This process is known as progressive infusion and is how our gin achieves a perfect balance.
