Seventh vintage of this gastronomic rosé that was first released in June 2015. Born from the collaboration between Julián Chivite and chef Juan Mari Arzark, it is made from a selection of Garnacha grapes grown at the Legardeta Estate. As a curiosity, it is produced under the ascription of Vino de la Tierra 3 Riberas, a small and little known protected geographical indication that groups together the elaborations of some Navarre municipalities. Complex, fine and silky. Limited and numbered production.
J. Chivite Family Estates is a winery with a signature, that of the Chivite family, with a history dating back to 1647 and a trajectory in which eleven generations have defended a way of life linked to the land and wine. The idea of creating the Las Fincas range arose from the old friendship between Julián Chivite and Juan Mari Arzak, and from the get-togethers and moments spent around a good table and a good wine. Thus, in one of these meetings the idea was born of making a wine "that wine that we would always want to share", which would also serve as a tribute to the know-how of a saga, the Arzak family. Design wines, both for the attractiveness of their container and for the care of their content, authentic, sophisticated, perfectionist. A wine of complex elaboration, a clear example of the precision required in the elaboration of a quality rosé. Behind this singular wine there is a careful elaboration process: it comes from the selection of red Garnacha and Tempranillo vineyards of the Legardeta Estate or the north of Navarra under the influence of the Atlantic-continental climate. Harvested at perfect maturity and elaborated by the traditional method of bleeding.
