Château de Beaucastel Côtes du Rhône Coudoulet Rouge 75cl.

31,20

Coudoulet's 30 hectares are located just east of the Beaucastel vineyard, on the other side of the A7 highway. For reasons that are now obvious, Coudoulet is often considered the baby Beaucastel. The soil of Coudoulet has many similarities with that of Beaucastel. It is formed by Molasse seabeds covered by diluvial alpine deposits. These pebbles called "Galets Roulés" play an important role: They absorb heat during the day and release it slowly at night, which gives a good start to the vines in spring.

Description

Considered the younger brother of Beaucastel, the vines from which Coudoulet is made grow on soils very similar to those of its prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This fruity, spicy, creamy red, the fruit of non-interventionist viticulture, ranks among the best Côtes du Rhone.
