Can Sumoi is the latest project of the Raventós family (from Raventós i Blanc), an agricultural estate dating back to 1645, located in the Montmell massif (DO Penedès), with chalky and stony soils and vineyards that are located in an impressive location at 600 meters above sea level. This is where the Raventós i Blanc family started their project based on respect for the environment, practicing natural winemaking with the least possible intervention in all viticulture and winemaking processes and practicing 100% organic and biodynamic cultivation. The result is natural high altitude wines, made from native varieties with great personality and quality that transmit the flavor of the terroir.
We want to recover the Can Sumoi estate - 400 hectares of forest and 20 hectares of vineyards in the Serra del Montmell - an abandoned estate and turn it into a living farm organism for future generations, which will be the origin of pure, authentic wines made with minimal intervention in all processes; also helping to recover this and other forests on the planet.
