By Ott is a rosé wine from AOC Côtes-de-Provence blend of Grenache Rouge at 65%, Cinsault at 25%, Syrah at 8% and Murvèdre at 2% produced by Domaines Ott, a Provence winery founded by a German shepherd agronomist in 1912. In 2004 it was annexed to the prestigious Louis Roeder brand and together they produce wines of great quality. The By Ott grapes come from vineyards on schist and limestone soils and are harvested by hand. The grapes are selected again upon arrival at the winery and, once there, the whole bunches are gently pressed and after a very short maceration the must is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. It is a fresh, fruity and pleasant rosé wine. It pairs perfectly with all kinds of Mediterranean dishes.
Pretty pink color with golden highlights. The nose is full of crisp yellow fruits and sunny citrus, with hints of hawthorn and pomegranate. On the palate the wine is delicate and silky and broadens into delicious freshness. The finish is lovely and long lasting
