Bodega Binigrau on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca has become one of the most successful wine producers on the island, especially popular with Germans. The two brothers Miquel and Matias Batle vinify exceptional wines with a lot of passion. A good example is the Binigrau B Rosat. A rosé made from the indigenous Mantonegro grape and a small amount of Merlot. Each variety is vinified and aged separately. After a short maceration in contact with the skins, spontaneous fermentation begins, carefully controlled at a very low temperature. A delicate pale pink color appears in the glass. The nose displays a wide range of aromas, with notes of various berries, such as raspberry and redcurrant. In addition, intense notes of peach and white flowers appear. On the palate, Binigrau B Rosat is elegant, fruity and smooth. Soft citrus, strawberries and grapefruit result in a young, fresh and mineral wine. A rosé with impressive depth and length. Particularly suited to hearty dishes such as marinated veal, oysters or spicy Asian dishes.
