Our Bourgogne Pinot Noir ""Vieilles Vignes"" (old vines) is made from grapes from 25 to 30 year old vines located in the Cote de Beaune and the Cote de Nuits. Seductive nose with an attractive palette of fruity, fleshy and balanced aromas.
Originating in Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, Albert Bichot Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes Pinot Noir 2020 is a magnificent monovarietal made from an exhaustive selection of Pinot noir from 25 to 30-year-old vineyards, grown on clayey and calcareous soils. This red from the Burgundy AOC is subtle, as well as fresh. Its aging for 8-12 months (from 20 to 30% is carried out in oak barrels and from 70 to 80% in vats) gave it structure, balance and notes of wood, with a very pleasant finish.
The origin of the French Bichot family dates back to the very Middle Ages. Although the Bichots would not settle in Burgundy until 1933, at their home in Châteauneuf-en-Auxois. Today, the winery is managed by the sixth generation of the family, with Albéric Bichot as the visible face of the domaine. The Albert Bichot winery has more than 100 hectares of its own vineyards spread throughout the Burgundy region, from Chablis to Beaujolais, and works with a single objective: to produce the best possible wines with viticulture that respects the environment. In fact, they have been certified organic since 2020.
