Aalto is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by the Aalto winery. This wine is a single varietal Tinto Fino. The grapes used come from very old vines, between 40 and 80 years old, and young vines. All of them come from two of our own vineyards and others distributed among seven different villages in Ribera del Duero, and the grapes are harvested by hand in October. The grapes are transported in 15-kilo boxes to the winery to prevent the grapes from breaking and losing their freshness. The bunches are then carefully selected on a sorting table. After the various winemaking processes, Aalto ferments and ages for 20 months in new and semi-new French and American oak barrels. Aalto has a very good evolution in bottle and can be consumed over the next 15-20 years. Decanting is recommended so that it can be enjoyed in the best conditions. It is a wine that has a great recognition at national and international level. This is corroborated by the various awards obtained and the high scores in the most prestigious rankings.
